Company Profile

Formex Metal Industries is a privately owned corporation in Kitchener, Ontario dedicated to the production of screw machined and formed tubular products. Established in 1981, we have been providing components to Tier 1 automotive customers ever since.

Medium to high volume contract orders are our specialty. Our roots in automatic screw machines has evolved to using many fully automated secondary operations including tube cold forming, cold form tapping, laser drilling, broaching, bending and slotting. Many of these pieces of equipment we have designed and built in-house to increase our flexibility. Our commitment to continuous improvement means we are constantly experimenting with new processes that ensure quality parts with competitive pricing.

Formex Metal has always prided itself on superior customer service. Co-operation with our customers has enabled us to help provide more efficient products than the original concepts. Parts that are giving your company headaches are the ones we most often develop capable solutions for. We find the opportunity in the jobs others decline.

Our location 1 hour west of Toronto, 3-1/2 hours east of Windsor-Detroit and 1-1/2 hours north of Niagara puts us in position to respond to your needs. Our personnel are available at a moment’s notice to prepare quotes, provide input for production planning, or any other need by phone or in person, all part of our policy to excel in customer service.

The Formex Vision is to become a leading metal manufacturer for the automotive and metal parts industry across North America and known for its superior quality.
The Formex Mission is to serve the automotive and metal parts manufacturing industry with excellence while achieving a fair return on its investment. Solid teamwork, superior workmanship and customer satisfaction are the cornerstones of our company.
