New 2005 International, 24 ft straight truck
In order to better serve our customers need for on-time delivery has
acquired a 2005 International 4400 24’ straight truck. This vehicle
will be used in conjunction with other contract carriers to offer more
efficient and effective distribution of Formex product and features full
graphics consistent with our website and other printed material.

Formex has done it again with the achievement of ISO/TS 16949:2002.

Formex Metal Industries Inc. announces new laser drilling capabilities.
Formex announced today the acquisition and installation of new laser
drilling machinery. Jeff Collis, Operations Manager stated: “The new
TRUMPF laser will allow Formex to provide its customers with precision micro
drilling capabilities. This is another important addition in our already
strong arsenal of capabilities in the metal fabrication arena.”

Jeff Collis appointed Operations Manager
Formex Metal Industries has announced the appointment of Jeff Collis to
the newly created position of Operations Manager. Jeff has had an impressive
career at Formex. Since joining the company in 1986, he has added to his
ever-growing list of achievements. We look forward to seeing Jeff continue to
lead the Formex team effectively. Mr. Collis is a graduate of Humber College. Prior to his latest appointment, he was Plant Manager at Formex.

Formex Metal Industries Inc. achieves QS-9000/ISO-9002 registration
With the help and support of our employees Formex was able to achieve
QS-9000 / ISO-9002 certification on October 30, 2001. This certification was
awarded by QMI following a thorough audit of our quality management system,
and demonstrates our commitment to providing our customers with competitively
priced quality products that are shipped on time.
QS-9000 is the quality standard for Chrysler Corporation, Ford Motor Company,
General Motors Corporation and their suppliers.

Formex inaugurates its enlarged and modern new 20,000 sq. ft. facility
Formex announced the completion of its new 20,000 sq. ft. modern plant at
the Riverbend
Drive
plant and head office location. “The expansion from our original 8000 sq.
ft. premises to this new 20,000 sq. ft. facility will give us the room to
grow” said Peter Esser, Vice President. “The new modern
facilities that combine plant and office will exponentially increase Formex
capabilities for metal parts design, engineering and manufacturing.
